imagecopy

Name

imagecopy — Copies a portion of an image.

Synopsis

imagecopy(destination, source, destination, destination, source, source, source width, source height);
int destination: Destination image identifier
int source: Source image identifier
int destination: Destination image starting x coordinate
int destination: Destination image starting y coordinate
int source: Source image starting x coordinate
int source: Source image starting y coordinate
int source width: Source image portion width
int source height: Source image portion height

Returns

TRUE on success

Description

Copies one part of an image to either a new image or the same image, depending on the image identifier used. If the same image identifier is used, be careful that the copied sections don't overlap, or the result may not turn out as expected. You can also resize the copied portion by using imagecopyresized() .
