ftp_rename
Name
ftp_rename — Renames a file on the FTP server.
Synopsis
bool ftp_rename
(, , );
: FTP stream
: Original file name
: The new name for the file
Returns
TRUE on success or FALSE on error
Description
Changes the originalFileName
to the newFileName on the FTP
server. This function sends a "RNFR" and a "RNTO" message
to the FTP Server, the user needs write permissions for
this function to work.
This function can also be used to move files,
e.g. ftp_rename('file.txt','../file.txt');
