cpdf_show
Name
cpdf_show — Output text at current position
Synopsis
bool cpdf_show
(pdfdoc, text);
resource pdfdoc: PDF
document identifier
string text: Text
Returns
TRUE on success or FALSE on error
Description
Displays text at the current drawing position. This is
functionally different to cpdf_show_xy() where you are
able to explictly define the text placement coordinates.
Instead, this function relies on cpdf_set_text_pos() or other
drawing functions to define the drawing point prior to
displaying the text.
Version
Since versions 3.0.8 and 4.0
Example
Example 178. Display Text
// start a PDF document
$cpdf = cpdf_open(0, "test.pdf");
// create a 600x400 page
cpdf_page_init($cpdf, 1, 0, 600, 400, 1);
cpdf_begin_text($cpdf);
cpdf_set_font($cpdf, "Helvetica", 18, "WinAnsiEncoding");
// set text position and display text
cpdf_set_text_pos($cpdf, 10, 500);
cpdf_show($cpdf, "Hello");
cpdf_show($cpdf, " World");
cpdf_end_text($cpdf);
// close and write document
cpdf_finalize($cpdf);
cpdf_close($cpdf);
