cpdf_setmiterlimitDescriptionWhen the join in cpdf_setlinejoin() is set to 0 (a miter join), the joining of two lines at a steep angle can result in a large peak which may look unattractive. Using cpdf_setmiterlimit() , the ratio of line width to mitre length is calculated and if the result exceeds the mitre limit then the join type is automatically changed to a bevel. ExampleExample 174. Control miter limit // start a PDF document $cpdf = cpdf_open(0, "test.pdf"); // create a 600x400 page cpdf_page_init($cpdf, 1, 0, 600, 400, 1); // set line width to show effect cpdf_setlinewidth($cpdf,5); // set a miter join cpdf_setlinejoin($cpdf, 0); // draw line cpdf_moveto($cpdf, 200, 600); cpdf_lineto($cpdf, 250, 500); cpdf_lineto($cpdf, 300, 600); cpdf_stroke($cpdf); // thicken line cpdf_setlinewidth($cpdf,10); // alter the miter limit cpdf_setmiterlimit($cpdf, 2); // trigger a miter to bevel change cpdf_setlinejoin($cpdf, 0); cpdf_moveto($cpdf, 200, 500); cpdf_lineto($cpdf, 250, 400); cpdf_lineto($cpdf, 300, 500); cpdf_stroke($cpdf); // close and write document cpdf_finalize($cpdf); cpdf_close($cpdf);
