aspell_check

Name

aspell_check — Checks the spelling of a word.

Synopsis

int aspell_check(identifier, word);
int identifier: Identifier from aspell_new()
string word: Word to be checked

Returns

TRUE if correct spelling; FALSE if incorrect

Description

This function trims leading and trailing spaces and converts the text to lowercase before checking it for correct spelling. If you want to check the spelling of the word exactly as presented, use aspell_check_raw() .
