Config .php

Well I have managed to get the config.php file to be seen but now I need to replace the config.php file for the admin side.
I have tried to run the install but it can't get a connection, so if somewone could suggest a way I can get back into this it would be neat.

It appears to setup a cookie too show and allow Access back to the admin area.

The whole issue was caused by a directory going walk abouts.

Happy Christmas everyone, today in NZ is a little cloudy but warm. We did have two minor earthquakes during the night...

I hate to say it but the ground moved for me.. GRIN!!

Config file problems.

Happy Christmas Charter,

I wonder if you have any suggestions?

When I run a search everything is fine but when I try to access the admin side the error cannot find config.php file is displayed and it doesn't continue to redirect to the admin access page to enter my password.
Access to the search is normal and okay but I cannot get any access to the admin side.
I have tried to reload the files and I have tried to check that the config.php file is present.
So have you any advice at all?
It was running fine then the error cannot find config.php came up when it wasn't doing this before, the only problem I could find was a change in where the directory "Includes" was within the host but I uploaded it again and it appeared to clear the search side of the config.php error but the admin access is still down so if you could offer any suggestions it would be appreciated.

Heaps of regards
Dave A

re: Config problems

The answer was obvious when I found it.

My FTP software was caching what was uploaded and showed a different file to what was in the host.
So I dropped the Cached copy and reinstalled the index.php files to the root and admin areas and viola it worked.

Still playing with the new spider.php file to see what changes have been made.
The spider seems to re index old websites no problems but new ones often give zero results so I will kick it around for a while and see what I can find out.

Keep up the good work Charter!
