How do I integrate results pages into a php site?

Howdy folks - love the phpdig software.

One thing though. How do I fully integrate the results into an existing website written in PHP?

I use a format where I normally include a header.php and footer.php for each page. I don't know xml and don't know if I can include php code into the templates to add my header and footer and make it all look fully part of my site?

Can this be done without resorting to iframes?
