Question Separating search forms

I haven't looked through all the tutorials but haven't seen specifically how best to separate certain search forms. For instance, I would like one search form to ONLY search the /faq/ directory, and one to search the entire site without having to select from the drop down on the main search site.

Is this possible and can someone tell me how?
thanks, Kelsey

It may be possible by running two databases on your server, one setup for the results from your FAQ areas and directories. then you could point search.php to the other database for it's results.
