Spidering inside a cluster.

Hello again,

I have a host on a cluster of machines, the machines that answer the request do not have the ability to lookup the proper hostname. When the site tries to spider itself, It never can because the systems vhost settings, it only sees the default placeholder for the machine. I'm sure this happens, but how do people get around this problem? One idea I had was to create a subdomain www1.host.com that points to the same information as the main site, but I might run into the same problem. Any Ideas?

Thanks
Marc
