Script not indexing - host doesn't allow remote/root access
Hi all,
Installed the script and everything went well. However, when I go to index nothing gets indexed. My host is powweb and they don't allow remote or root access to MySql and I suspect this is what's causing the problem. I tested the script on one of my other sites and not only did it install well, but it also managed to index the pages on my site. Has anyone else had this problem? This is what comes up when I attempt to index my pages... Spidering in progress [stop spidering] Optimizing tables... Indexing complete ! The result is that only one (1) host is found. I've even tried to index my sitemap and also tried different combos for depth and links to traverse. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks! Last edited by tyhand; 07-17-2005 at 08:50 PM. |

Does it make a difference if you try with or without the www in the link to be indexed?
