So another thing that came to me...

Why is it that (what seems) all the hopefuls start their auditions singing from the beginning of the song?

Unless American Idol forces the contestants to start at the beginning, it doesn't make sense that all these contestants start at the beginning.

Think about this...

You want to impress the judges. Wouldn't it make more sense to start mid section, getting part of the verse, bridge, and chorus in the few seconds you have to impress the judges?

Just some thoughts...
