PhpDig currently does not have classifying abilities. Perhaps the easiest thing to do would be to set the query string for the links on the directory page. Of course, this would produce search results that are based on page content. Another method would be to add a column and/or table for categories and then edit search_function.php to query based on category and/or keywords.
