partitioning results?

for example:
ich have news and over infos of my site. if search, on first be always the news (folder: "news")
and later the other sites (other folders).

the problem: the user search for the realy information of the product and not the the news of the product.

can i partitioning the results?
like: first folder "news" with 5 results, second "other" with the rest of results?

or can i set Priority for folders?

thanks
redlock

Look at this thread and see if it provides the kind of solution you're seeking.

thanks, but it´s not what i want.

i don´t want a menu to select different parts (paths) of website to be searched! i want only selected results by folders.

like: the search of the full website/db view:

first: folder "news" with 5 results,
second: "other folders" with the rest of results

or turned around

thanks

How about this thread then? If that doesn't solve it, you might want to search the forum archives. This subject comes up fairly often, so I would encourage you to seek out the various threads where it is discussed. :)
