the page won't load

it seems to do the work but i don't see the spidering page it stands on the index and it's always working

if i stop the work and search for something, i got some answers but i never saw the spidering page so i never know when the work is done

Hi. Oh, I see what you're talking about. I thought you meant that the page here at PhpDig.net wouldn't load. Anyway, there is a flush statement in the code to output to the browser, but some OS won't do this regardless of the flush statement. From php.net is the following:

Several servers, especially on Win32, will still buffer the output from your script until it terminates before transmitting the results to the browser.

is this because i just installed sp1 on my computer

Hi. Stop the process and unlock the site, and then index. To unlock a site, go to the admin panel, click the site, click the update button, and click the unlock link.

Hi. Yes, it can take a while. Perhaps try lowering the search depth and index in chunks.
