safe mode problem
 
hello world

my webspace uses safe mode on.
if i use the spider local and after i put the files with a ftp-client to the server and update the database are there eny problems to do it like that?
is this the right way to use phpdig if SAFE MODE is on?

No, You will be able to install PhpDig, and search PhpDig, but whenever you go to /admin/index.php and spider a site, you will get a XML error.

I advice you to switch host, in that case.

Hi. You could crawl locally and then update the remote database, keeping the local database intact with each crawl, and FTP the files. Also, this thread may be helpful.

thank you for replay

at the moment my problem is, i spider it local, after i have all the stuff in my local db, i would like to transfer to the online-db. now i got the problem to transfer it because the file is to big and phpmyadmin cancle the job after 30 seconts of progess. shi....
the only thing i can do now, holpe that the ISP is giveing me more rights on the server.
