integrating into current site
this is a great script.
I am working on integrating it into my site, and ahve followed the instructions. I dont understabd where I have to do this: * Add ($relative_script_path != "./phpdig") && to if statement which page is this on? Also, how do I Skin it to look like my site? Thanks. ad |
Hi you should find that you don't need to change or add that path at all, it should work as it is.
The relative script path from what I recall is in the config.php file and if it is left as standard then it usually finds the "Relative script path" from what I understand it works by "Seeing" the path relative to where the script is running from. When it is running you can add a search box to any page in your website, it's easy to add it as html in a picture or graphic you have. Then the search box opens below it. You may have to design a template for it that looks more like your own website or just try one that comes with it. |
the relative script path was indeed in the config.php file.
I really need to have the resylts page integrated into the site, with my stylesheets and navigation, etc. Without the stylesheet switcher, etc. I cant seem to figure out how to do this. can someone please help? Thank in advance, ad |
Okay if you send me an email to dave@(No spam)linknz.co.nz with your domain details, then I will have a look and see if I can work something out for you.
I may be able to design a page in html or Php that will enable it to work better for you and get the results page to appear better. At least I will be able to see how you are trying to do it. All the best Dave A |
