What is text_content for ?
 
Hi,

I delete all the files in the tex_content , and the search engine works always ?
What these files are for ?

The files in the text_content directory are for nice, highlighted search results in PhpDig 1.8.7. If you are using PhpDig 1.8.7 and CONTENT_TEXT is zero, then PhpDig uses the first page of the page as a snippet in the search results. This means that, if 'query' is part of a page, you will see the snippet regardless of whether 'query' is actually in the snippet. If you are using PhpDig 1.8.8 RC1, then set CONTENT_TEXT to zero in the config file, as PhpDig 1.8.8 RC1 works fine, and shows nice, highlighted search results, without storing all of those files in the text_content directory. Plus, with PhpDig 1.8.8 RC1, you can set TEXT_STORAGE_AMOUNT to indicate how much of a page to store.
