Working with MySql
My server holds mysql on a separate server from where my site is hosted. Will this post a problem for phpdig? How does it know where the databases are to begin with? Thanks.

Do you mean that MySQL is at somewhere.domain.com instead of localhost? If so, I don't see an issue, assuming of course that you are able to run other PHP scripts with MySQL access under the same scenario you mention.
