How to optomize PHPDIG?

how can i optomize PHPDIG?

As you can see I have quite a few pages indexed. Sometimes queries take several seconds. For example
Results 1-10, 784 total, on "Faith Evangelical Lutheran Seminary" (130 seconds)

Results 1-10, 784 total, on "Faith Evangelical Lutheran Seminary" (2.53 seconds)

Results 1-10, 784 total, on "Faith Evangelical Lutheran Seminary" (3.57 seconds)

As you can see the MYSQL query cache dramatically cuts down the time for subsequent queries.

Any ideas?

Leonard

What kind of server is your site on? If it's a Windows server, Windows doesn't play very nice with phpdig. If it's anything else, I couldn't tell you what the problem might be.

Hi Leonard, I just hopped across to your web site and the same search took 1.55 seconds.
Have you tried to clean your index and common word listings using the admin panel, I have found that this makes things run quicker.
Your engine seems to be quite fast for me and the results are good.

All the best
Dave A
