search problem...
Something is weird with the search - I try to do a search for any name on:
http://www.mediavue.net/contactMediavue.html and that page doesn't show in the results. Any ideas? |
Here are a few things to check:
Are you sure the page was spidered? Go into your phpdig database using phpMyAdmin to check. Try spidering the individual page, then see if it shows up in the results. When you spidered the site, did it index as many pages as you thought it should? |
Yes, it was definitely spidered; Spidered the indiv page, still didnt show; yes, it seems to have spidered everything...
Basically, there about six sites in the index, and searching on somebody's name will bring up the contact pages on those sites, but not this one... |
OK, if you're absolutely sure it was spidered, what search terms are you using? If a "common" word is included in the search, it will produce zero results.
|
I am searching on a specific persons name on the page - just pick a name, search for it, and you will see that the page does not come up
|
Look at the HTML and you'll see that the names are embedded in JavaScript.
|
Ahhh - touche! Should've seen that, thanks!
