confused - how do i intergrate search?

I'm really confused :tired:

ok, i've installed the latest version of phpdig. here's my story:

- Installation went fine
- tables in my mySQL db are setup ok
- i've used the admin feature to index my site (tested with 10 pages, content and keywords indexed ok)
- i've used the http://www.chowyunfat.info/search/search.php default file, and it's great! - nice search results

but how do I get my own html search form (on chowyunfat.info/index.php) to generate search results.

i can't find anything in the documentation which shows me how to integrate the search.php with the rest of my site.
