Spider OK, but how to get search?

I've got PHPDIG installed and spidering is working OK. I want to make a custom search page and use ONLY the a modified version of the simple template.

I'm having two problems:

First, I'm not sure how to modify /phpdig/search.php to use the "simple" look.

Second, when I arrive on the results page, the refine list is automatically set to a point fairly far down the tree. How can I get rid of the refine list and always have it set to start from the top of my website?

Never mind... I'm figuring this stuff out. Now my problem is the spider not spidering completely. Off to read the forum.

Welcome to the forum, sdstern. We're glad you could join us. :D

Nice to see you're able to figure out some things on your own. However, if you find anything you just can't work out how to do, that's what we're here for. :)

Sometime around 2AM this morning I pulled it all together and got it working.

See http://engchgo.org/phpdig/search.php

(In the process of testing, I discovered that the template I use to build the agendas for our meetings had the title "Agneda", and used it on 30 files. After fixing that, I learned how to allow re-indexing with only a very short delay.)

Congratulations on a job well done! We like to hear success stories like yours.

BTW, I'm sure I speak for Charter when I says thanks for retaining the "powered by phpdig" link on your search page. It is much appreciated. :)
