Just installed Phpdig. Admin is running but every single site I attempt to spider returns:

Exclude paths :
- @NONE@
No link in temporary table

links found : 0
...Was recently indexed
Optimizing tables...
Indexing complete !

It doesn't matter what the link depth is. Saw a similar message about this but did not apply to me. I'm using IE on PC.
