When I index the whole site, phpdig stops before the end (error 404). Thus I go on the page of administration and I see the already indexed pages but the site "is locked". I go then in "update" and tests réindexer starting from the root. It checks the already indexed pages but does not follow the links towards the pages of lower level. Certain pages of my site are thus never indexed :(.
Other question : What is limit_upd.php for ?
-----------------------------------------------------------------

See this post (http://www.phpdig.net/forum/showthread.php?t=334) for instructions on how to unlock the site.

Are you sure you're not getting a 404 because you have a broken link? You might want to check the site with the Web Link Validator (http://www.relsoftware.com/). I assume it's your site you want to check. Using Web Link Validator consumes some bandwidth, so use caution if it's someone else's site you're indexing.

What search depth and "links per" level are you using? You might want to up those numbers to see if phpdig will index more pages.

Hope this helps. :)

Welcome to the forum,
if you download a program called xenu.exe (from the web) you can use it to test a web site and it will list all the bad links and page errors found.
We ever I get odd results back from PHPDIG I usually run xenu across the site before hand, it can save ages of wondering why PHPDIG gives odd errors and links sometimes.
